In February 2015 Atrium Ljungberg took possession of the leasehold Stora Katrineberg 16 in the city district Liljeholmen, an office property of 40,000 m2 with approximately 30 well-reputed companies. Bankgirot will move into approximately 7,000 m2 of office area which is now rented by Sweco (previously Grontmij), who will vacate the property on 30 April 2016. The planned occupancy by Bankgirot will take place in April/May 2017.
Up until Bankgirot’s occupancy, Atrium Ljungberg will conduct major reconstruction of the premises and upgradation and replacement of the property’s technical installations.

As the only clearing house for mass payments in Sweden, Bankgirot has a key role in the Swedish payment infrastructure and daily ensures a flow of SEK 50 billion. The payment system Payments in Real Time enables instant payments through the mobile payment solution Swish. In addition to payments in its payment system, Bankgirot also offers, for example, electronic identification and signing, e-invoice services and other information handling which enables digitalisation of everyday finances.
